Introduction:

My name is Lind Kathy  Smith, I am an artist with my Husband Kenneth Smith, We own Century Art World   in York(United Kingdom).I live in York United Kingdom, with my two kids, four cats, one dog and the love of my life my husband Kenneth Smith.

 It is definitely a full house, I have been doing artwork since I was a small child that gives me about 30 years of experience I majored in art in high school and took a few college art courses Most of my work is done in either pencil or airbrush mixed with color pencils.

How we started the company:

Kenneth and Kathy met while studying drawing and painting in London art school in 1983. They formed the Company Century Art World in 1985 and began selling hand printed fabrics and painted jewellery at Paddington and so many arts in the Markets. The intuitive creativity that shapes their distinctive work in jewellery and home wares has also informed the development of their extraordinary company. Century Art World now stands as one of the most visible and successful Art Company in the UNITED KINGDOM  businesses, operating its own stores in S34 Parliament Street York, United Kingdom And Africa as well as exporting to more than twenty countries worldwide. Including U.S.A

Kathy And Kenneth Smith  have managed to intersect the boundaries between art, craft, design, fashion and business without pause, and have applied the same creative energy and focused vision to each new opportunity. They have forged an important place for themselves within the United Kingdom  design history, not only through their longevity and popularity but also through the distinctively United Kingdom character of their work, with many of the colours and forms they use evoking the casual lifestyle and vibrant natural landscape of U.K.
